Man denies murdering wife in Wolverhampton home

A man has denied murdering his wife after she was found dead at a property in Wolverhampton.

Anjanee Sandhir was found with serious injuries at an address on Finchfield Road at about 20:20 BST on 29 September, and was confirmed dead at the scene.

Appearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday, her husband Shivinder Sandhir pleaded not guilty to her murder.

The 42-year-old, of Finchfield Road, is next due to appear in court on 20 March.

He has been remanded into custody.
