Sixth arrest over death of man at house

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender in connection with a man's death earlier this year.

Warwickshire Police said 45-year-old Carl Stephens died at a house on Chestnut Avenue in Kenilworth on 20 March.

The force said the 46-year-old woman from the town remained in custody while inquiries continued.

She is sixth person to be arrested in connection with the death.

The force said a 51-year-old woman from Solihull arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and a 72-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender remained on bail.

A 24-year-old man from Birmingham, a woman from Kenilworth, 49, and a 16-year-old boy from Kenilworth, have been charged in connection with Stephens' death.
