Driver killed in A40 lorry crash
West Midlands Ambulance ServiceThe driver of a car has died in a crash with an HGV in Herefordshire.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to the A40, near Glewstone, on Tuesday at 18:27 BST.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance and emergency doctors attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was found in a "critical condition" and despite the best efforts of medical staff at the scene it "became clear that nothing more could be done to save him".
He was confirmed dead at the scene. The driver of the HGV did not require treatment.
