A burst water pipe is causing disruption and water supply problems in Stoke-on-Trent.

Severn Trent Water apologised to residents experiencing no supply, poor pressure or discoloured water in the ST6 area of the city on Tuesday morning, and said it was due to a burst pipe on Moorland Road.

In a separate incident, a burst water pipe on High Street was also causing water supply interruptions in the ST5 area of Newcastle Under Lyme, a spokesperson said.

They added teams were on both sites working to repair the issues as soon as possible and residents might experience lower water pressure or discoloured water as the supply returned to normal.
