Five youths fired catapults at pensioner - police
Getty ImagesA man in his 70s was taken to hospital with injuries after catapults were fired towards him, police have said.
Kent Police said it was called to a report of five young people firing catapults on Waterloo Road, in Cranbrook, at about 18:30 BST on 16 June.
It said the suspects, believed to be aged between 16 and 18, made off towards The Hill area, also known locally as The Crane.
The man spoke to officers at the scene before later attending a local hospital for treatment, police added.
Anyone with information, who may have witnessed the incident, or has CCTV in the area, is urged to contact police.
