A body has been found outside Heart of Midlothian Football Club's stadium in Edinburgh.

Emergency services were called to Tynecastle Park in Gorgie's Wheatfield Place at about 06:30 on Sunday after the man was found unresponsive.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. His death is being treated as unexplained by police.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: "A report will be sent to the procurator fiscal in due course."
