A woman arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal house fire has been bailed.

Gloucestershire Police said a woman in her 90s was pronounced dead at the scene of the fire in Elmgrove Road West in Hardwicke, Gloucestershire, at 04:00 BST on Sunday.

A woman, aged in her 60s and from Gloucester, was later arrested on suspicion of murder and arson with intent to endanger life but has since been released on police bail as investigations continue, police said.

Police said searches at the house have now been completed and a cordon, which was in place at the scene, has since been removed.
