Residents living near an industrial estate in Dorset were told to keep doors and windows closed after fire broke out at a recycling centre.

Crews were called to the facility in Kennington Road, Poole, shortly after 12:00 BST.

Firefighters and equipment were sent from eight stations and crews used breathing apparatus, mainlines and foam to put out the blaze.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service said the fire was out by 15:12 but four fire engines and crews remained, damping down.
