Man seriously injured in car crash with lorry

A man has suffered potentially life-changing injuries in a crash between a car and a lorry, police say.

The collision happened at 08:30 BST on the A338 Marlborough Road in the village of Collingbourne Ducis, north of Tidworth in Wiltshire.

The injured man, who is in his 20s, was driving the car and has been taken to hospital, Wiltshire Police said.

Drivers have been told to find alternative routes due to closures on the A338 while the car and lorry are recovered. Heavy traffic has been reported in the area.

Anyone who saw the crash has been asked to contact Wiltshire Police.
