Man jailed after sex attack on 15-year-old girl

A 22-year-old man has been jailed for six years following a sex attack on a 15-year-old girl.

Police were alerted on 3 April 2025 to the reported assault in Basingstoke.

Eight days later, Terrell Taylor-Swhyer, of Taverner Close, attacked emergency workers in the town.

He was jailed at Winchester Crown Court after being convicted of charges including two counts of sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, three of assaulting emergency workers, six shop thefts, obstructing a police constable and possessing cannabis.
