Motor-racing fans and residents alike have been promised a "spectacular" fireworks display in the Isle of Man's capital to mark the culmination of this year's TT races.

Organisers said the event would light up the night skies above Douglas Bay from 23:00 BST.

Launched from an offshore barge, the display will be visible from vantage points all along Douglas Promenade, they added.

Crowds are also expected to gather on the headlands in Douglas and Onchan, which offer views from either side of the bay.

Organisers said the celebration would feature a "TT set piece" situated on the beach, in front of the Villa Marina.

The 2026 Isle of Man TT races have been hit by a series of weather delays, leading to an overhaul of the schedule which saw the shortened, four-lap Senior race brought forward by a day to Friday.
