Two lanes of the M25 are shut for resurfacing works after a lorry fire in Essex overnight.

The clockwise carriageway was shut at about 03:00 BST between junction 27 for the M11 and junction 28 for Brentwood, National Highways reported.

Inspectors found one lane of the carriageway needed to be resurfaced.

Drivers have been warned of delays of 20 minutes and two miles (3.2km) of congestion on approach.
