New indoor skate arena to open in Guernsey
BBCA new skateboarding and BMX arena is set to open in Guernsey at a former swimming pool on Saturday.
The Pool House has been built in place of the derelict St Andrews School swimming pool in St Andrew.
The designers have made parts of the park movable to change its layout for different routes and jumps as well as ramps and rails around the arena.
Tim Gaudion, Guernsey's skateboard development officer, said the new arena "aims to provide a safe and exciting space for beginners or those with more experience".

Its funding included £14,400 from the Guernsey Social Investment Fund.
The arena is set to open at 12:30 GMT.
