A 23-year-old man has been charged after a police car was rammed by another car in Londonderry on Thursday.

It happened in the Rossnagalliagh Park area.

The man has been charged with a number of offences including dangerous driving, driving without a driving licence, using a motor vehicle without insurance, attempted grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of a Class A drug.

He is expected to appear before Londonderry Magistrates' Court on Saturday.
