"It's important that we get together", a bar owner has urged, as the venue prepares to screen England's World Cup matches.

Jonny Kraska, who owns Dive in Wolverhampton, said people had a "duty" to be patriotic.

Ahead of England's World Cup opener against Croatia on Wednesday, he said the venue was hoping for "a really good, exciting occasion" and a win.

Kraska added that the screenings were "a different kind of thing" for the venue, which usually hosts live music.

He said: "I think everyone has a duty to be sort of patriotic at this sort of time to get everyone together, no matter [if you're] musicians, artists, whatever segment of the community you are."

"You can enjoy our national team and I think it's important that we get together more than ever."
