Man charged over death of pedestrian hit by car in Glasgow

A man has been charged over the death of a pedestrian who was hit by a car in Glasgow.

Patrick Stoddard, 67, was struck by a black Audi A1 on Carmunnock Road in the city's south side on 4 December last year.

He died in hospital more than three weeks later.

Police Scotland confirmed a 44-year-old man had now been arrested and charged and that a report would be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
