England fans across the West who were riding high after last week's convincing win over Croatia were brought back down to earth after a goalless draw with Ghana.

On a swelteringly hot day across the region, hopeful England fans flocked to pubs to catch the 21:00 kick off.

Hundreds of supporters also watched the match at Bristol's two football grounds to watch the match - Ashton Gate and the Memorial Stadium.

Thomas Tuchel's men, who remain top of their qualifying group, were unable to break down a stubborn Ghanaian defence, who managed to grind out a 0-0 result.
