A man's death is being treated as "unexplained" after his body was found in Dudley Canal.

West Midlands Police was called to the scene, off Halesowen Road, in Cradley Heath, at about 20:40 BST on Thursday.

A force spokesperson said: "Sadly, nothing could be done to save him, and our thoughts are with his loved ones at this devastating time. The death is currently being treated as unexplained."

They added that anyone with information can contact the police via its website or by calling 101.
