Man, 33, arrested over stabbing death at Edinburgh's Banana Flats

A 33-year-old man has been arrested over the death of another man in a stabbing at Edinburgh's Banana Flats.

Armed officers were called to a "disturbance" outside the Leith flats - properly know as Cables Wynd House - at about 21:40 on Sunday.

Footage from the scene showed an ambulance and dozens of police cars. Police said a man was found with serious injuries.

The man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh where he died later. Police Scotland said an arrest had been made and "inquiries are ongoing".

A cordon remained in place outside the flats on Monday morning.
