Man, 22, fatally stabbed in west London named

A man who was fatally stabbed in west London has been named as 22-year-old Haruun Hassan.

The Metropolitan Police said it was called to the junction of Bath Road and Great Southwest Road in Hounslow at 01:47 BST on Tuesday following reports of a stabbing.

Hassan was treated by the emergency services but was pronounced dead at the scene, the force said. The crime scene included a double-decker bus within the police cordon. No arrests have been made.

Det Ch Insp Paul Waller said: "We know there were a number of people on the bus at this time, and we urge those people, or anyone with information, to contact police as a matter of urgency."
