Drug dealer who supplied crack and heroin jailed

A man has been jailed for more than six years for supplying heroin and crack cocaine.

Rrahim Statovci, 23, of Mill Street, Slough, ran a drugs line that supplied Class A drugs to users in Basingstoke between July 2025 and January 2026, Hampshire Police said.

He was arrested after officers from the force's Northern Area Crime Team investigated a drug line operating between Slough and Basingstoke under the name "Rico."

Officers seized up to £15,000 worth of crack cocaine and heroin, along with £3,300 in cash, while Statovci was running the line.

He was detained in March and later charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin and crack cocaine.

Statovci admitted the offences and was jailed for six years and four months at Winchester Crown Court earlier this week.

Police staff Investigator Michael Longmore said officers would "do everything we can" to stop drugs networks targeting Basingstoke and the surrounding area.

He said the supply of Class A drugs had caused significant harm to communities, including the exploitation of vulnerable adults and children.
