Two die after car overturns into water-filled ditch

A man and a woman who were critically injured in a car crash in south Norfolk at the weekend have died, police said.

Both were taken to hospital after a black Ford Ka left the A143 and overturned into a water-filled ditch at Haddiscoe, near Lowestoft, at 16:15 BST on Saturday.

The driver, a man in his 70s, died on Tuesday. His passenger, a woman in her 60s, died on Wednesday.

Norfolk Police said it was keen to hear from witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage.
