Road closures in place due to large fire
South Yorkshire Fire & RescueRoad closures remain in place between Sheffield and Rotherham due to a large overnight fire on an industrial estate.
South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said crews were called to the fire on Grange Lane in Sheffield, between Deep Lane and Grange Mill Lane, at 01:42 GMT on Tuesday.
No injuries have been reported from the blaze, which involved scrap metal and tyres, before firefighters left the scene at 04:31.
A spokesperson said the cause of the fire was under investigation.
South Yorkshire Fire & RescueA police cordon remains in place in the Ecclesfield area, with drivers advised to seek alternative routes.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Our officers remain on the scene and are supporting the fire service."
