Fire crews tackle warehouse blaze overnight
South Yorkshire Fire and RescueAn investigation has begun into the cause of a large fire near Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield.
Firefighters had been called to the blaze on Meadowhall Road on Friday evening and people living nearby were asked to keep their windows closed because of "a large plume of smoke".
Earlier, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the blaze had been put out and Meadowhall Road reopened.
One fire engine remained at the scene on Saturday to damp down, a spokesperson added. There were no reports of injuries.
At the height of the blaze, at about 20:30 GMT, the service said 10 engines and two specialised turntable ladders had been sent to the scene.
The number of engines was reduced from 10 to six at about 23:00.
