A man in his 40s has died following a two-vehicle crash in Clogher.

The incident happened at about 12.40 BST on Friday afternoon and involved a white MG HS car and a Volvo lorry on the Crossowen Road.

Police said that Northern Ireland Ambulance Service provided treatment to a number of the people at the scene. However, the man died from his injuries a short time later.

It's the second fatal collision to occur in County Tyrone in as many days after a teenager died in a crash near Coalisland.

'Heartbreaking'

DUP assembly member Deborah Erskine expressed her "heartfelt sympathies" are with the man's family, friends and loved ones.

"I also think of all those affected by this tragic incident, including the emergency services who attended the scene," she said.

"This is heartbreaking news for our local community. I would ask everyone to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers in the days and weeks ahead."
