Bridlington murder probe victim named
Humberside PoliceA man who died after an alleged stabbing in Bridlington has been named by his family as 25-year-old Ibrahim Yesildeniz.
Humberside Police said officers were called to First Avenue at about 05:20 BST on Monday to reports of a stabbing.
Yesildeniz was taken to hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries but later died, the force said.
Mehmet Gundez, 24, from Bridlington, has been charged with murder and remains in custody. He appeared at Hull Magistrates' Court on Wednesday but entered no plea. His next hearing is on Friday at Hull Crown Court.
