Services disrupted after freight train breaks down

A broken down freight train has blocked rail lines causing disruption across Norfolk and Suffolk.

The freight train broke down between Ipswich and Needham Market and disruption was expected until about 10:15 BST.

Greater Anglia said another train would have to help move the freight, meaning services could be delayed or cancelled.

Trains for Ipswich, Norwich, Cambridge and Peterborough have been affected.

Services hit include:

• London Liverpool Street and Norwich
• Ipswich and Cambridge
• Ipswich and Peterborough
