Residents in a street in Ramsey have been warned to expect disruption for the next four months as work to replace a water main is carried out.

Rolling closures will be in place on Gladstone Avenue from 06:00 BST until 7 December.

The project is set to involve the excavation of the road before the new water main is laid in phases.

The works are being carried out on behalf of Manx Utilities by contractors Island Drainage & Groundworks.

The contractor said emergency access would be maintained throughout the project, and all residents had been informed of the schedule for the works.
