Family pay tribute to man who died in e-bike crash
HandoutThe family of a man who died after his e-bike was involved in a hit-and-run crash with a moped have paid tribute to a "gentle giant".
Joshua Oxley, 22, was injured in the crash in Great Horton Road, in Bradford, on 19 June and died in hospital the next day.
In a statement, his family described him as "the kindest person you could ever meet", adding: "He had a heart of gold and cared for others more than himself."
Two men, aged 22 and 27, who were arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving remain on bail, West Yorkshire Police said.
Joshua's family said they were "heartbroken" by his death.
"Even through the tough years we have faced together as a family, Joshy has never failed to have a smile on his face and always cheer up others.
"Forever 22, our gentle giant, we love you, and you will always be missed."
Police said their investigation into the crash was ongoing and Joshua's family have asked people "not to speculate online surrounding the circumstances of [his] death".
