Sussex Police said the motorcyclist remained in hospital

A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash in East Sussex, police have said.

The crash involved a grey Vauxhall Vivaro van and a black Kawasaki motorcycle.

Sussex Police said it happened near the petrol station at the junction on the A259 Road and Coneyburrow Lane, near Bexhill, at about 16:50 BST on Sunday.

They added the motorcyclist, a 29-year-old local man, remained in hospital while the driver of the van, a 43-year-old local man, was not injured.
