Police appeal after motorcylist killed in crash

A motorcylist has died in a crash in Sherburn in Elmet.

North Yorkshire Police said the collision happened at 19:55 BST on Saturday on Sir John's Lane and involved a silver Suzuki motorcycle and a blue Mazda vehicle.

The force said the male rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police asked for anyone who witnessed the collision or had any relevant dashcam footage to get in touch.
