Woman, 85, dies after being hit by vehicle

An 85-year-old woman has died after being hit by a vehicle in Fife.

Emergency services attended the incident in Aberdour High Street at about 10:00, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another female pedestrian, aged 75, and the driver, an 81-year-old man, were taken to hospital for treatment.

Police Scotland said inquiries were ongoing into the crash and appealed for witnesses to get in touch.
