Two men critically injured after Aberdeen bypass crash

Two men are in a critical condition in hospital after a crash on the Aberdeen bypass.

The incident happened at 11:30 on Tuesday on the stretch of road between the A93 and A944 junctions.

The men, aged 24 and 79, were taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary

Police Scotland has asked anyone with information to get in touch.

The road was closed for 10 hours after the three-vehicle crash.

It involved a white and red Iveco Rigid Tipper, a white Renault Trafic van and a red Suzuki Alto car.

Sgt Dave Cooper said: "I'd also ask that anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage review this to see if it has captured something significant that could assist with our investigation.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact 101".
