Four in court charged with assault to severe injury and robbery

Four people have appeared in court charged with assault and robbery in Aberdeen.

There was a major police response after the incident in the Gallowgate area of the city at about 21:00 on Tuesday.

Police said a man was treated for a laceration at the scene, but did not need hospital treatment.

Louis Chautems, 31, Hannah Foliant 34, Naceredine Kasraqui, 36, and Michael Donoghue, 39, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court. Kasraqui and Donoghue also faced offensive weapon charges.

They made no plea. Chautems and Kasraqui were released on bail, and Foliant and Donoghue were remanded in custody.
