Road near hospital closing for cable upgrade
BBCWork on electricity cables will force a road near Guernsey's hospital to shut for more than two weeks.
Traffic and Highways Services said it approved a request to close Les Oberlands Road in St Peter Port from Monday until 24 February so Guernsey Electricity could upgrade low voltage cables.
A Facebook post from the department said staff and visitors to Princess Elizabeth Hospital were advised to enter the hospital from Le Vauquiedor, rather than using the rear entrance.
It added cyclists could still pass through the works if done with "care and observing dismount signs" while details of bus route changes would be available on buses.gg.
