Crash with van kills 80-year-old motorcyclist

An 80-year-old motorcyclist has died after a crash with a panel van, according to police.

Emergency services were called to incident on the A227 Tonbridge Road near Ightham, Kent at about 09:30 BST on Thursday, Kent Police said.

The rider of a red Honda motorcycle died at the scene, officers said, adding that his next of kin had been made aware.

Investigators asked for witnesses or motorists with dashcam footage of the crash to contact the force.
