Five arrested in harbour drugs investigation

Five people have been arrested in East Sussex as part of a National Crime Agency (NCA) drugs investigation.

A large number of officers were seen boarding a boat at Sovereign Harbour in Eastbourne, on Monday morning.

An NCA spokesperson said: "Five suspects are in custody, the arrests having been made on 8 June near Eastbourne Marina.

"The investigation is ongoing and more details will be released in due course."
