The Esso petrol station on Deanery Road remains closed, police say

A man has been taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious collision at a petrol station.

Police were called to reports of a man becoming trapped between a lorry and another vehicle at the Esso petrol station near Tesco Express on Deanery Road in Warmley, near Bristol, at 09:57 BST.

The petrol station forecourt is closed and is expected to remain shut for several more hours, Avon and Somerset Police said.

Anybody who witnessed the collision or has relevant dash cam footage or information is asked to contact the force.
