Cyclist suffers life-threatening injuries in crash

A cyclist has suffered life-threatening injuries in a collision with a car in Hull.

Humberside Police said the crash happened at about 11:59 BST on Friday evening on Raich Carter Way.

Officers said a silver Vauxhall Mokka was travelling eastbound when the collision happened, and the cyclist, a 40-year-old man, was taken to hospital.

Police are appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage or any further information about the incident.
