Man, 102, in critical condition after alleged pub assault

A 102-year-old man is in a critical condition after allegedly being assaulted at a pub.

Emergency services were called to The Crow's Nest pub in Cwmbran, Torfaen, at about 22:25 BST on 1 August, and the man was taken to hospital.

A 56-year-old man from Llanelli, Carmarthenshire, was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, and has since been released under investigation.

Gwent Police is appealing for witnesses and want to speak to anyone who was in the pub between 22:00 and 23:00 on the night of the incident.
