Two charged after man seriously assaulted in Broughty Ferry

Two men have been charged after a man was seriously assaulted in Broughty Ferry.

Emergency services were called to Strathmore Avenue at about 21:20 on Saturday.

Police said the man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.

Two men, aged 42 and 46, were arrested following the incident.
