Manslaughter charge after boy's 2024 crash death

A man has been charged with the manslaughter of a teenage motorcyclist who died a day after a crash in October 2024.

Aidan Tottman, 16, was one of two boys who were seriously injured after the incident outside Liquid Leisure in Horton Road in Datchet, Berkshire, on 19 October 2024. He died in hospital the next day.

Neil Carr, 57, of Bowden Road, was charged with one count of manslaughter, causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving on Tuesday.

Jordan Kripczik, 18, of Waterloo Road, Wokingham, was charged with one count of aggravated vehicle taking. Carr and Kripczik are due to appear at Reading Magistrates' Court on 30 September.

Aidan's family said he was "the best son, big brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend anyone could have."

It added he was a "kind, caring, funny and sometimes shy" boy, who was polite and had respect for others.
