Man arrested on suspicion of firearms offences

A 22-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences, police have said.

Armed officers from Lincolnshire Police were deployed to an address on Usher Avenue, Lincoln, as part of a pre-planned operation earlier.

The force said officers would remain at the scene "for some time" while investigations continued.

The man was taken into custody for questioning, a spokesperson added.
