Driver seriously hurt in combine harvester crash

A woman has sustained potentially life-altering injuries in a crash with a combine harvester in Bilsthorpe.

Emergency services, including firefighters, were called to Kirklington Road at 17:20 BST on Thursday.

Nottinghamshire Police said the crash involved a car and a stationary vehicle, which it confirmed was a combine harvester.

The driver of the car, a woman, suffered potentially life-altering injuries.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said crews started to leave the scene at about 19:30.
