Overnight closures for lighting upgrade announced
GoogleMotorists are being advised of overnight closures near the A63 in East Yorkshire.
National Highways said roadside lighting would be upgraded on the westbound slip road of the North Cave Interchange, which links the M62 and the A63.
Restrictions will be in place between 20:00 and 06:00 BST on weekdays between 10 August and 14 September, excluding the bank holiday Monday on 31 August, the agency said.
Traffic will be diverted to junction 37 (Howden) before being directed back to the junction 38 eastbound exit. The B1230 will be accessed via junction 37, a spokesperson added.
In a post on social media, National Highways said LED lighting is being installed, which "benefits road users and the environment alike".
The agency said LED lighting uses less power, produces lower carbon emissions and lasts longer, reducing the need for future maintenance.
