Police seek witnesses after man tried to choke woman on train

Police are seeking witnesses after a man attempted to choke a woman on a train from Dalmuir to Larkhall.

The attack took place about 19.15 on Monday 3 November, before the man left the train at Blantyre railway station.

A man in his 30s was later arrested in connection by officers on suspicion of domestic assault.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact British Transport Police.
