Pars all round at the last.

Valiant attempts, but Tom Kim was too clinical to be caught.

  4. Kim confirmed as Scottish Open championpublished at 19:40 BST 12 July
    Breaking

    MacIntyre -13, Lee -15, M. Fitzpatrick -13 (17)

Min Woo Lee has to hole out from the fairway on the 18th to force a play-off.

His towering approach takes its first bounce well past the hole and comes to rest at the back of the green.

That confirms Tom Kim as the 2026 Scottish Open champion after a tremendous six-under 64 today,

A nerveless putt from Tom Kim, who holes it for par and a 64.

That's the joint-best round of the day, with Rory McIlroy and Viktor Hovland.

Min Woo Lee needs an eagle to force a play-off.

The guy who said Rory needs to concentrate on his mental game before his swing is 100% right.

If anyone reads Bob Rotella's latest book, particularly Padraig Harrington's foreword, they will know what I mean... His swing is fine... He just needs to make his next shot his best shot.

    Mike

In fairness, Rory McIlroy doesn't need to read the book - Bob Rotella is his go-to sports psychologist!

You can read more here about how Rotella helped McIlroy capture the career grand slam last year.

    Tom Kim, wedge in hand.

    Not bad.

It's about four feet short of the hole - that for the tournament, barring something truly spectacular.

    MacIntyre -13, Lee -15, M. Fitzpatrick -13 (17)

Min Woo Lee is over his birdie putt but backs off to have a second look.

It doesn't pay off though, as it pulls up a few inches short and he taps in the par putt.

A birdie at the second last for Bob MacIntyre, and a par for Matt Fitzpatrick.

    T. Kim -17 (17)

The door is wide open for Tom Kim.

However, from 155 yards, he flies the green and has work to do for a closing par.

    That's a mistake - a sign of nerves...

    Lee -15 (16)

Min Woo Lee needs a birdie at 17.

And he gives himself a chance, finding the right slopes and finishing about 20ft from the flag.

Tom Kim's drive down 18 is absolutely perfect and he marches after it.

Chris (18.34). Were the likes of Jack Nichlas or Tiger Woods also suffering from a lack mental strength? I cannot remembering them winning every tournament they played.

    MacIntyre -12, Lee -15, M. Fitzpatrick -13 (16)

Min Woo Lee, known for his flop shots, pulls one out at the right time to get it out of the thick rough, over a pot bunker, and within a makeable distance for par. Which he composes himself to make.

No such finesse, unfortunately, for Matt Fitzpatrick from off the green, who cuts an exasperated figure after his chip pulls up well short. He has to make do with a bogey, ultimately.

A long look at birdie for Bob MacIntyre slides past the hole before he tidies up for par.

    T. Kim -17 (17)

Tom Kim takes his time - as he does - over his birdie putt on 17, but it's never on line and this tournament is still just about alive.

He goes to the 18th tee with a two-shot lead over Min Woo Lee, who's in bother at 16...

    MacIntyre -12, Lee -15, M. Fitzpatrick -14 (15)

An excellent approach out of the first cut from Bob MacIntyre, dropping it just short of the flag and leaving him a makeable look at par.

Matt Fitzpatrick can't get as close, sailing his shot off the back of the green.

Coming out of the scary stuff, Min Woo Lee is up last. Can he conjure up something special?

    Unfortunately not.

He hooks it and winds up closer to the hole, but in some equally tricky rough.

    T. Kim -17 (16)

Another beautiful swing from the leader.

The landing area at the 17th isn't the biggest, but Tom Kim locates it perfectly and has another great look at birdie.

    MacIntyre -12, Lee -15, M. Fitzpatrick -14 (15)

Three to play, two shots back, Min Woo Lee needs to step on the gas if he wants to keep this alive.

Perhaps feeling the pressure, he pulls his tee shot left of the fairway and into the thick rough.

Matt Fitzpatrick splits the fairway, while Bob MacIntyre is in the first cut of rough.

  18. Birdie for Kimpublished at 19:04 BST 12 July

    T. Kim -17 (16)

    Is that the tournament?

Tom Kim makes his short birdie putt and goes two clear once more.

  19. Postpublished at 19:01 BST 12 July

    MacIntyre -12, Lee -15, M. Fitzpatrick -14 (15)

Matt Fitzpatrick is furthest away, so he putts first. The line is good, but it doesn't have enough behind it and stops a good couple of feet shy. Par it is.

Likewise, Bob MacIntyre's putt just doesn't have the legs, and he knocks it in for a par.

If this goes in from Min Woo Lee, we're set for a sensational finish.

He takes plenty of time to visualise his line, addresses the ball, a steady rock of the shoulders...

It is so close to dropping, one more spin and it might be in, but he remains one back as he heads to the 16th tee.
