  1. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

Notts County have been out there for a while, waiting for Town to emerge from their dressing room.

The message from Martin Paterson is clear. More of the same, just find a second goal to surely secure the points.

Simon Weaver has made a change, Tobias Brennan is on for Levi Sutton at half-time. He'll want more intensity after the turnaround, that's for sure.

Not an awful lot in it, but the margins are fine in the EFL.

The difference has been in the final third - County have dealt with everything Town have mustered with ease whereas they have shown more guile in attack and out-foxed the home defence for the game's big moment after 10 minutes.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 13:18 GMT 28 March

So far, so good for Notts County.

They are back into the automatic promotion places, as things stand, after Alassana Jatta turned in Tom Iorpenda's low cross from close range, despite appeals for offside, which look more than justified.

Harrogate began brightly before that 10th-minute opener and have huffed and puffed since, but despite plenty of endeavour cannot match County's quality and have yet to trouble James Belshaw - who has made more Harrogate appearances, across three spells, than many of the current Town XI combined.

Harrogate look destined to remain in the EFL basement, giving their rivals a boost ahead of the 15:00 GMT kick-offs to come.

  6. INJURY TIMEpublished at 45+1 min

Into THREE added minutes at the end of the first half.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 44 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

Harald Nilsen Tangen's afternoon is done, Conor Grant is coming on for him just before the break.

  8. 'Not a penalty'published at 13:16 GMT 28 March

Taylor had sat down the recovering defender by dummying him. As he went to strike the ball his standing leg gave way.

I think he just lost his footing from what I could see. I don't think a defender put him off.

  9. Postpublished at 44 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

    Chaos in the County box.

Ellis Taylor slips as he drags the ball back past diving defender Jacob Beadeau at the far post after latching onto a low cross from the left.

The home fans howl for a penalty but Will Finnie has a good view and Taylor himself doesn't appeal as County manage to scramble the ball away.

  10. Postpublished at 40 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

Break in play as County midfielder Harald Nilsen Tangen needs a spot of treatment.

Harrogate hadn't exactly been piling on pressure, but had had a good couple of minutes and that will stall their flow.

  11. 'Questions need to be asked of Notts defence'published at 13:13 GMT 28 March

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

    Josh Falkingham
    Former Harrogate Town captain

Management will be concerned about how many times Town have asked Notts to defend.

They'll encourage early crosses which could causes mistakes or errors.

We've got into wide areas on occasions but we need to put better balls in the box to either create shots on goal or panic in the Notts backline.

  12. Postpublished at 38 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

The home fans are getting a little frustrated as Reece Smith is freed down the left but fails to make the most of the space, cuts back, and loses the ball.

Jack Muldoon then launches in a long throw which is dealt with well by County.

Town have offered very little in the final third.

Notts are so good at keeping the ball and that's the difference, that's why they have the advantage.

If there's nothing there for Notts, they find a way of keeping possession.

  14. Postpublished at 33 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

Tom Iorpenda drops a shoulder to win a free-kick on the left flank but Jodi Jones' driven cross to the back post is looped into the air by Lewis Macari and Town are able to clear their lines.

  15. 'Taylor hugely important'published at 13:02 GMT 28 March

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

    Josh Falkingham
    Former Harrogate Town captain

The manager allows Taylor the freedom to run right across the line and create overloads.

He's got that spark and that creativity. He can make things happen. When he performs well he affects the game.

    He's hugely important to Harrogate.

  16. Postpublished at 30 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

Keanen Bennetts has seen a lot of the ball on the right and this time he cuts onto his left and whips a low cross in towards Alassana Jatta at the near post, though he can't get a touch allowing Henry Gray to gather.

  17. Postpublished at 29 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

The Magpies look very slick on the break and Harald Nilsen Tangen slots through for Keanen Bennetts to maraud down the right and his cut-back is perfect for Alassana Jatta on the edge of the box, though his first-time side-foot shot is blocked.

  18. 'Town struggling with final ball'published at 12:59 GMT 28 March

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

    Tim Steere
BBC Radio York's Harrogate Town commentator

Harrogate are making the runs, they've got some decent runners but the balls haven't been there.

Just that final ball is needed to complete the move.

  19. 'Town got away with one'published at 12:56 GMT 28 March

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

    Josh Falkingham
    Former Harrogate Town captain

Bennetts will be really disappointed. I know he's playing right wing-back but he's naturally left-footed and it fell back to his left, but he didn't manage to keep it on target.

Thankfully for Harrogate Town it was one they got away with.

They've got to make sure they stop as many crosses coming into the area as possible to stay in it this afternoon.

  20. Postpublished at 24 mins

    Harrogate 0-1 Notts County

Concerted pressure from County with crosses into the box not cleared convincingly by the Town defence.

The ball eventually drops to Keanen Bennetts in the box but after working some space to shoot on his left his effort flies over the stand and into the car park next door to jeers from the home faithful.
