Barnsley have signed Portsmouth striker Makenzie Kirk in a season-long loan deal.
The 22-year-old joined Pompey from St Johnstone last September and scored once in 14 Championship appearances in 2025-26.
The Northern Ireland Under-21 international could make his competitive debut for the Tykes in their EFL Cup first round tie against Wigan Athletic.
"He works hard, likes to press from the front and has shown that he can score goals at a good level," boss Daniel Stendel told the club website., external
