Iga Swiatek has wrestled back momentum in this match with a hold to 15 wrapping up her fourth game in succession.

Karolina Pliskova is on the ropes again when Swiatek gets to 40-30 and break point but the defending champion sends a passing shot into the tramlines. Pliskova digs in to get the hold.

  2. 'Keys won't be feeling particularly confident'published at 14:43 BST 2 July

    Swan 1-6 4-6 Keys

Katie Swan should be very proud of how she played this match. She spent an hour and a half out on court and really made life difficult for Madison Keys. She gave her opponent a good run for her money out here and it was nip and tuck in that second set.

If you were to look at the scoreline alone, you would have no idea how much closer that match actually was. Swan was in danger of maybe causing a lot of problems in that second set.

I don't think Keys will be walking off this court feeling particularly confident - and that's down to her opponent.

  3. 'I didn't know the Princess of Wales was here'published at 14:41 BST 2 July

    Fery 5-7 7-6 (7-3) 6-3 6-3 Virtanen

GB's Arthur Fery, speaking after his victory over Otto Virtanen: "Incredible emotions. Such a tough match. After the first two sets, I thought it would last a while. So happy with how I managed to keep my emotions in check and keep going. So happy to reach the third round.

"[My strong grass season] is a strong accumulation of work and practice. I was playing well at the start of the year in Australia and this grass season I've been playing well and having good results. I feel really comfortable on the grass."

On the Princess of Wales watching the match: "I didn't know she was here. I probably would have been a bit more tight if I did! There is lots of support at home in the UK so it's fantastic to play in front of them. It's great to do it for the UK. Selfishly I am doing it for myself first - but I'm always behind the other players and wishing them success.

"The match only finished five minutes ago so I definitely haven't [processed it yet]. It's going to take some time and I am going to try to recover as best I can for my match in two days."

Finished with a bang by Madison Keys - wide serve followed by a powerful cross-court forehand winner. She lets out a roar of delight.

Katie Swan bows out in the second round but she made the American 26th seed work for it.

The difference between the two? The break points - Swan only converted two out of eight, including wasting all four in the first set, while Keys made 5/12.

Dear me. It's a good return from Katie Swan off a mighty serve, but Madison Keys' reply is poor, always drifting wide.

This second set has been far more competitive than the first, with the opening five games already taking longer than the 25-minute opener.

But, after going 2-0 down, Iga Swiatek has managed to turn this around thanks to another costly double fault from Karolina Pliskova on a break point.

There are audible sighs and groans from the crowd, who not long ago were beginning to sense that Pliskova was gaining some momentum.

Ah. Just as Karolina Pliskova's confidence is building, she comes up with a double fault to hand back the break.

Iga Swiatek battles to a hold before breaking again to take control of the second set.

Pliskova is certainly putting up more of a fight but has still only sealed one hold of serve across six games.

Madison Keys goes for a kick serve but it sits up nicely and Katie Swan absolutely lamps her forehand return. 0-30.

Nervy moments for the American, serving for a spot in round three.

That is a tough one to get over. It looked like she was thinking about trying to get it out of the air; she couldn't get up in time and had to back off, feeling rushed.

She will have to do a lot of thinking in this sit down to keep calm and move forward.

  14. Keys breaks and will serve for the matchpublished at 14:31 BST 2 July

    Swan 1-6 4-5 Keys*

Oh, Katie Swan was caught in two minds there. To take it in the air or to not take it in the air? She dillies and dallies and plants her forehand in the net.

On the plus side, she's broken Keys in her past two service games so all is not lost.

That has got to be one of, if not the biggest forehands of the day for Swan!

Down 0-30, Katie Swan nails a body serve. Madison Keys, cramped for room, pulls her backhand into the tramlines.

But then Keys comes up with a blistering cross-court backhand.

    Yup, more break points.

That was a double fist pump from Katie Swan there. She is hyping the court one crowd up and they are happy to go with her.

She has done so well at keeping tight in this second set. We did feel like the first couple of games were so close. We said if she could just keep belief, stay positive and allow herself to keep fighting, she would be right in it.

Wild forehand from Katie Swan, flying comfortably long. She reaches for her right thigh in between points.

Her movement looks unhindered as she launches herself from one side of the baseline to the other to recover a forehand into the corner and sticks in the rally, just waiting for the error from Madison Keys. It comes! A forehand into the net.

Four breaks in a row on Court One.
